Hi, I’m Linda — the artist behind Defined by Linda, a semi-permanent makeup studio in Clifton, Bristol. I specialise in nano brows, microblading, powder brows, lip blush, and eyeliner tattoo treatments — helping women wake up every day with perfectly shaped, natural-looking brows and makeup that lasts.
My signature style is soft, realistic, and completely tailored to the indivdual — because no two faces are the same. Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation and bespoke design, followed by a calm, professional experience from start to finish.

I was so pleased i could be fitted in at short notice. This was the first time I had microblading, Linda made me feel relaxed as she explained the process which didn't take long at all, I felt no discomfort and found it very relaxing. I was very pleased with the end result, my concerns were listened to and the look was just as I wanted. I would definitely recommend and use again.

I absolutely love my brows. I did not go into this procedure lightly and was very apprehensive before my appointment in November, but Linda very quickly put me at ease and seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. I’m so excited to be starting my tattoo removal journey with Linda. I had my first session this week and she made me feel so at ease, she gave me lots of info before we started and made sure that I was okay and comfortable throughout the session. Having seen lindas work online I decided to have a consultation for powder brows. Being of senior age I was nervous and unsure . Linda was very informative and professional in her approach talking me through the process with great understanding and making sure I understood everything. Feeling more confident I booked an appointment. 10/10! I hadn’t had my brows micro - bladed in years which led me to feeling quite nervous. As soon as I met Linda, all of my nerves disappeared. Linda is so lovely, she is very knowledgeable and she speaks the truth about the results she can achieve which I appreciated. Linda is very talented. I love my brows, I love that I don’t have to try and make them look symmetrical on a daily basis which saves so much time and I will never not have them micro - bladed with Linda.

I had my eye brows micro-bladed yesterday, I am so pleased with them, Linda definitely knows her stuff, she spent a long time mapping out my eyebrows to make sure they were perfect and perfect they are, she didn’t have a lot to work with as my eyebrows were so fair, I love them and it’s lovely to finally have some brows, looking forward to the top up. I love my brows so much. Linda is an absolute professional and is so passionate about what she does. Linda spent so much time talking through what will happen during the appointment and mapping out my brows so that I was 100% happy with the shape. The studio in Clifton is comfortable and clean and is in the perfect location for having a walk around after your appointment.

After researching around for someone who does microblading, feeling nervous to get it done I found Linda, and she was way beyond amazing! From the start i felt at ease, it was like being with a friend the whole time. I asked Linda for permanent makeup, eyebrows and eyeliner. She was very professional in her approach and I am really happy with her work. My eyebrows look amazing! She did a lot of preparation and it turned out perfectly suiting my face. My eyelids swelled up during eyeliner procedure so it could not be completed. I will have another appointment to hopefully complete the process. I would highly recommend Linda, and my daughter and some friends are keen to get their eyebrows done by her!

Love my new lips, I had a lip blush treatment and they look lush.
Got it done a few months ago and they are getting better looking over time.
I was so nervous about the treatment but Linda was so friendly I ended up having a wonderful experience from start to finish. She really has a fine eye for detail.
She does other treatments like microblading and I think it’s called permanent eyeliner. How cool. Well done Linda.

I recently had my top and bottom eyeliner touched up after almost five years, and the service was fantastic. I can’t wait for my next top-up! During my appointment, I felt completely relaxed and comfortable. The room was clean, well-lit, and had a calming atmosphere with lovely music playing in the background. Linda was wonderful, and we had a great chat, even though I was supposed to keep quiet to prevent my eyes from moving!! It felt like catching up with old friends. Highly recommend this service!

After 5 years of perimenopause hair loss my eyebrows had almost completely fallen out. I found Linda online and we had a consultation. Linda explained all of the options available to me and how it would work. Linda was so knowledgeable, professional and understanding of my circumstances.
With her informed advice we selected the right treatment, colour and size for the most natural look to replace what I had lost.

I was quite abrehensive to let somebody else have control over my eyebrows but Linda’s got a really great eye for how someone’s eyebrows should look to suit that person.
I am a natural looking person and she matched my eyebrows carefully to suit me as well as listening to what I wanted.
She was great at keeping me relaxed and talking me through crushing and she is really easy to talk to.

I highly recommend Linda! I had my brows done by someone else the first time I ever did it a few years ago and I wasn’t very happy, which really put me off trying again. I had my second eye liner appointment with Linda last month and I have to say a huge THANK YOU to her. I have a scar caused by an operation on my eyelid which goes into my lash line and Linda worked her magic and after the healing process it's not noticeable anymore and my liner looks just awesome.
She spent time explaining how she would pass over the area and explained the pain factors involved. We discussed colour and shape and she just made me feel comfortable as possible because she's placing a tattoo on my eyeline.

Linda is exceptionally informative, kind, considerate and thoughtful. Right from the initial consultation she took the time to explain everything, being honest about the procedure, pain that might be experienced and the initial couple of weeks after the treatment. During the procedure itself she was thoroughly professional and attentive to my wellbeing and reactions. Soothing, calming and dedicated to her skillful work, she managed effortlessly to combine the treatment with a gentle, reassuring conversation. Her aftercare is reassuring and rigorous.
Microblading was definitely not an easy treatment, I found it a little painful at times, but others may not. Linda was reactive to my flitches, applied more numbing balm and was always honest and informative about the possibility of a touch of pain.
It was absolutely worth it though. As a lady who literally had a few hairs as eyebrows and was sick of my eyebrow pencil, I love the difference. They look so natural, they look fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend Linda for this treatment.
